About the Presenter:

Virginia is a founding partner of Leadership that Works Inc., and Coaching that Works, where she designs coaching and leadership training programs that help leaders become more authentic, productive, and responsive to the needs of their organizations.

Virginia is passionate about bringing coaching to diverse populations and international communities. She has led coaching courses in a Federal Correctional Institution in the USA, training inmates to work more effectively with Youth at Risk from their communities. Virginia is one of the lead partners in the Coaching and Philanthropy Project, which helps to create the bridge between coaching, non-profits and philanthropy. 

Virginia has trained coaches all over the world, both for the Coaches Training Institute and through Coaching that Works. She has also designed and currently leads Coaching for Transformation, a professional coaching certification program and Fire in the Heart, a program for advanced coaches. Her personal growth and soul development program, PrairieFire will launch in February 2008. This program is a 9 month intensive program designed to awaken creativity and bring participants alive in their true work. 

A Master Certified Coach and a popular presenter, Virginia has spoken for the Power of Coaching Conference in Chicago, the ICF European Conference, the 2005 International Conference for the ICF, and the New England ICF.  Virginia lives in northern Pennsylvania in the USA, where she has been a community builder and grassroots organizer for 30 years.

About the presenter:

Professional Coach Rachelle Disbennett-Lee PhD. has been an international coach since 1996.  Coach Lee is a graduate of Coach University, was the Training Director for three years at the International Coach Academy, has taught coaching classes at Colorado Free University since 1997, and is Co-Founder of the Denver Coach Federation.

An international speaker, Coach Lee provides motivation and education on such topics as Self Esteem, Marketing, Personal Self Care.  She is often quoted as an expert in such publications as the Los Angeles Times, Woman’s Day and Fitness Magazine.  She has appeared on television and radio programs speaking about the benefits of self-esteem, self care and positive daily action. 

Coach Lee earned her Doctorate Degree in Applied Management and Decision Sciences from Walden University.  She has a Master’s degree in Management from Regis University and spent over ten years as an adjunct faculty member at several international universities.She also hosts her own nationally syndicated Radio Show.

Speaker’s Bureau – Dan Heimer and John Hall are working together to put together a speaker’s bureau to connect the community to our member coaches who speak.  If you are interested in learning about our speakers or being part of this initiative, please contact Dan Heimer at dheimer@shorelinecds.com

Assessment Certification Workshops – Currently we are working on a discovery initiative to determine what assessment tools would be most useful to our coaches.  If you are a member coach and would like to share what you know or help in the discovery and RFP process, contact Glenn Stevenson at ontheverge@pacbell.net to find out where we are in the process and what is needed.

ACTP Panel – Each year, we dedicate one of our meetings to bringing out a group of Accredited Coach Training Program representatives to talk with our members about what training is available to both new and master level coaches.  Generally this panel is held in August.  Make sure to sign up for our newsletter so we can keep you posted!

ICF International Conference – October 2007, in Long Beach, California.  This year our international conference will be right here in our backyard, and the Orange County Chapter is planning to host a special event at the conference for local coaches to network, explore synergistic opportunities, and learn about our chapter.   For more information, or to help out with this special event, contact Douglas Gfeller at doug@thecoachingperspective.com
