ProPath, Inc. seeks a Career Coach for a professional
career development program assisting employees internally in an
aerospace organization. This is a part-time position through ProPath,
Inc. for 20/hours (3 days/week). The position reports to an employee
of the client, the Manager of the Career Resource Center. As a ProPath
representative, the person in this position will partner with the
Career Center Manager and ProPath Career Coaches in the following
areas:
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate, implement and administer career
center
program to provide services for employees across all organizational
levels and functions.
- Provide one-on-one career coaching services
to
assist all levels of employees in identifying, assessing and achieving
career and/or educational goals.
- Provide guidance and feedback on resume writing,
interviewing, career transition, information gathering, networking
strategies and overall career success.
- Research training and education resources for
professional development.
- Using multiple resources, identify current
and future organizational trends/needs in relation to assisting
employees defining career paths and goals.
- Research, design, develop, and facilitate a
variety of career related workshops to a broad employee audience.
- Facilitate employee and/or manager educational
briefings to promote understanding of and participation in the
career program.
- Interface with Human Resources and other key
organization leaders to develop and facilitate joint programs.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships
with employees, managers and other key executives to promote,
market, knowledge share and obtain program feedback.
The successful Candidate should meet the
following
criteria:
- Master’s degree in career counseling,
a counseling
related field and/or organizational psychology or equivalent experience.
- Coaching Certification from a coach training
organization accredited through the International Coach Federation.
- Minimum of 5 years professional experience
providing both career coaching and training/facilitation services
within an organization to a broad range of employees including
executive level.
- Comfortable working independently in a highly
technical environment yet is an active contributing member of
a virtual team.
- Experience working with college hires.
- Extremely resourceful, flexible, and willing
to take
initiative.
- Ability to build and maintain organizational
relationships.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, project management,
marketing and multi-tasking skills.
- Worked within a business environment, preferably
a
technical one.
- Experienced with administration and interpretation
of career assessments such as MBTI, Skill Scan, SDS, StrengthsFinder
and The Career Design Guide
- Track and maintain employee database, client
notes, and other essential documents. Must have proficiency with
MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and knowledge of
working in a networked environment.
