President’s
Message
Spring has sprung into high gear, hasn't
it? Even with our "May Gray" moving into "June
Gloom" here in Southern California we are getting wonderful
glimpses of brilliant and clear warm weather. Besides that
old fog reminds us that "we do too have seasons!
Back to the sprung spring... wasn't our BCE
Program wonderful this past month? Rich Hessler proves to
be an incredible resource for technological options for coaches.
His handouts alone are worth gold to those who are remembering
that it is necessary to build a solid structure of support
in the form of our businesses in order to support us in being
a successful coach or coaching company.

Coaching In Excellence Program

How to
Get Your ICF Credentials
As a coach, one of the best
ways to build credibility is to have an International Coach
Federation credential beside your name. But with everything
that goes into getting your business started, you may not
have the time or energy to spend researching the process and
completing the steps. In our June Business and Coaching Excellence
program we will review the process of how to get credentialed
through ICF, step-by-step, and also hear personal experiences
and tips from those who have completed the process successfully.
Come join us and leave with an easy plan to get yourself credentialed
within the next year. If enough people are interested, we
will form a support group for those would like to complete
the process together.

New Frontier for Change
Presented by: Daniel Holmes
Join fellow coaches in a lively evening of
“family” fun and laughter. Family Coach and Trainer,
Daniel Holmes will bring smiles, insight and possibility to
the lucrative and fast-growing market of Family Coaching.
Learn how your clients are intrinsically
affected by the interactions of their immediate family. Find
out why family can be an integral part of an individual’s
positive growth. Discover your own ontological connections
to family and how they may be shaping your current perspective
of the world around you. Engage in the possibility of bringing
Family Coaching into your current practice.
This hour will assist coaches to bring stronger
trust and intimacy into their coaching relationships by understanding
familial links. Coaches may also broaden a client’s
life perspective in the family roles they play against the
backdrop of positive social change.

Risk Using Your Imagination
by Bradley Ann Morgan
How many times have you found yourself in
an office meeting, a homeowner’s association, or even
a school board meeting when the present issues needed some
new thinking for resolution? Where is the license for the
use of imagination? The common use of the term, imagination,
is the process of forming in the mind new images which have
not been previously experienced. Children’s fairy tales,
science fiction novels, and the latest video games are fine
examples of true ‘no limits’ thinking. What keeps
us from releasing our imagination, opening the doors on our
locked treasures of creativity? Is the capacity for imagintive
thought only for the use of an enlightened group of people?
